Frank Lampard is reportedly set to be the next manager of Everton Football Club following the sack of Rafael Benitez.
Transfer News expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on his official Twitter account on Friday, January 28th, 2022. According to the tweet, the decision to appoint Lampard was taken after the board met with Lampard, Vitor Pereira and Duncan Ferguson
Lampard will be bringing a lot of experience to the Merseyside club. The former Chelsea player will bring experience he gained from Derby County. He also was in charge of Chelsea during the 2019/20 season leading the Blues to fourth place at the end of the season.
The English man was sacked by Chelsea midway into the 2020/21 season following a series of a bad run of form. Everton fans will hope Lampard’s experience takees them far off the relegation side of the table
