Even though Chelsea’s women in blue had missed the opportunity to go to the top of the FA Women’s Super League Table against Arsenal on Saturday, February 12, 2022, the current champions can still overthrow Arsenal before the competition comes to an end.

In an entertaining match on Saturday, February 12, 2022, the Chelsea women’s football team played a goalless draw to go top of the FA Women’s Super League table with their Arsenal counterparts, who currently hold the number one position.

Although Emma Hayes girls had struggled against an in-form Arsenal team, the blues still have a game in hand to turn the tides and go top of the table.

Both the Chelsea women and Arsenal women teams had failed to get maximum points and ease the competition for the most coveted trophy in English women’s football. From all indications, the current champions of the FA WSL, Chelsea, would be looking to reclaim their title in the 2021/2022 season.

With the next games in the FA WSL scheduled for March 2022, we can only get excited about the possibility of late drama in the league.

The current champions, Chelsea, have only conceded a goal at home in this year’s campaign.

Chelsea women would take on Leicester Women on Saturday, February 26, 2022, and Arsenal women would pay a visit to Liverpool women in the same competition on Sunday, February 27, 2022.
