Real Madrid defender, Antonio Rudiger has given an update on the eye injury he sustained in the game against Shakhtar Donetsk.
The German suffered the injury after he colided with the goalkeeper of Shakhtar in the last seconds of the game. Rudiger connected to a ball from Toni Kroos which ended up in the back of the net which gave Madrid a point to book a second-round spot.
However, the former Chelsea player confirmed on his official Twitter page after the game that he is okay with the caption, ” What does not kill you, makes you stronger. I am oka, thank you for all the messages.”
There is a huge doubt that he will be available for the ElClassico this weekend, according to reports from Marca, the club are currently monitoring the current situation of the player. He could be allowed to wear a mask for the game against Barcelona.
