Chelsea FC has confirmed that a first-team player who had been sidelined injured has resumed training with the rest of the squad.
Chelsea FC has received a major boost ahead of the club’s premier league game at Brentford scheduled for today, Wednesday, October 19, 2022, as the blues confirmed the match fitness of a first-team player who had been sidelined due to an injury he previously sustained.
The blues confirmed that Hakim Ziyech had resumed training with the first team after he missed out on the last game against Aston Villa. Potter confirmed that Ziyech had been out of action due to severe cold.
“He’s fine. He’s trained the last few days so he’ll be involved against Brentford.
He had a really heavy cold which knocked him about for a few days so the game against Villa came too soon but he’s trained well recently so he’ll be involved.”
