The body governing football in Europe, UEFA are reportedly set to take a decision that will affect transfer policy.
The reports coming from the body is that UEFA will implement a law next season that will see players not sign for more than a five-year deal, according to the Times.
It is understood that the move comes after several clubs raised concerns with UEFA over Chelsea’s recent activity. The Stamford Bridge club has been the busiest this transfer window, the players coming to the club have signed at least a seven-year deal.
However, there is no official statement from UEFA yet as it concerns this situation.
